Frequently Asked Questions

What does Sex Therapy help with?

Sex therapy is a form of counseling that helps individuals and couples improve their sexual well-being, intimacy, and communication. It addresses emotional, psychological, and relationship factors that may affect a person’s sex life.

Sex therapy can help with concerns such as low sexual desire, performance anxiety, difficulty with arousal or orgasm, pain during sex, relationship or communication challenges, and healing from past sexual experiences or trauma. It can also support people exploring sexual identity or navigating changes in intimacy within a relationship.

Sessions are talk-based and focus on education, communication, and practical strategies to build a healthier and more satisfying sexual relationship.

What makes you different?

We combine a thoughtful, human-centered approach with clear communication and reliable results. It’s not just what we do, it’s how we do it that sets us apart. You are not just “therapy,” you are a relationship and a process.

How does Couples Therapy work?

In our work together, we focus on communication, emotional safety, and rebuilding closeness.

Couples therapy isn’t about winning arguments, it’s about understanding what keeps happening between you, especially in hard moments. Together, we slow things down and gently look at those patterns so something new becomes possible.

In a safe, supported space, you both learn to speak more honestly, listen with care, and respond to each other in ways that feel less hurtful and more connecting.

Whether you’re feeling distant, working through something painful, or just wanting to feel close again, this process is about finding your way back to each other.
